How hard is it to operate a continuous glucose monitor?

The Guardian Real-Time System was designed for ease of use. To get the most out of your system and its many capabilities, you should take the time to familiarise yourself with the monitor, the MiniLink™ Real-Time Transmitter, and the tiny glucose sensor. You will want to learn how to program the monitor to set glucose units and glucose alerts. Overall, you should be able to start monitoring your glucose levels with your Guardian Real-Time System in a few hours.

Where do I insert the glucose sensor?

The Guardian Real-Time System uses a tiny glucose sensor that you insert comfortably under your skin. Many people insert it on their stomach. Medtronic’s patented insertion device makes insertion easy and virtually painless. The sensor continuously measures your glucose levels and can be worn for up to 72 hours.
