This state-of-the-art system gives you the control of an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring. The MiniMed Paradigm Real-Time System helps you take immediate corrective or preventative action to keep your glucose levels healthy and prevent diabetes-related complications.

Easy-to-read display gives you continuous trend graphs, trend arrows, and glucose readings.

Features

Displays updated glucose values every 5 minutes
Displays 3-hour and 24-hour glucose trend graphs, as well as arrows that indicate how fast and in what direction glucose is moving
Designed to alert patients to potentially dangerous low glucose and high glucose episodes by sounding an alarm or vibrating
Requires a minimum of two calibrations each day (one every 12 hours): A confirmatory fingerstick using a standard blood glucose meter is required prior to making self-management or therapy decisions
